DAS logoThe world legendary modelling material was invented in 1963 by poet and author Dario Sala, after whom it is named, as a powder to be mixed with water packaged in what looked like a soap box.

Launched on TV in 1965, its formula and image have been repeatedly renewed over the years: in 1968 it became “ready to use” as a self-hardening material and, in 1968, sold as we know it today, in the vacuum-packed package.

Das joined the FILA family in 1994 with the purchase of Adica Pongo and its famous Das, Pongo and Didò brands.
